I started the Alternative Teen Services web because a colleague and I needed  a  place to express our passion about serving teens. We both worked in an environment where teen services wasn’t supported financially or even hypothetically and we needed to reach out and connect with others in similar situations. This web site is about sharing our resources and passions so that we can collectively improve our services to teenagers. It’s also a place where we can digress every now by discussing the issues we face day to day on the job.
